Pieces of Sky

Jodie lives in a tower block that was due for demolition 15 years ago. Because it was earmarked for redevelopment the maintenence budget was cut. The rationale was that there isn't any point in investing in something that is to be demolished. So for 15 years people like Jodie have been dragging mattresses up the stairs because the lifts haven't been invested in. Over 7000 people live in these tower blocks in Plymouth.
