On 26th November 1805, the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct on the Llangollen Canal opened its water channel for the first time. On 27th June 2009 we were there to record a new chapter in the glorious aqueducts life, the inscribing of her as a very worthy UNESCO World Heritage Site. Divided by geography alone, the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct now stands side by side with other marvels such as Stonehenge and the Great Wall of China.

We were asked by British Waterways and the Welsh Assembly Government to be the official photographers of the event. An interesting few days to say the least. Visit our blog to read more of the story.
