Centenary Art Commission, Stoke-on-Trent

Chris at Pieces of Sky has been commissioned by Stoke-on-Trent City Council as the Documentary Photographer for the Centenary Sculpture Commission, celebrating 100 years of Stoke-on-Trent as a city. Chris is working with the celebrated sculptor David Annand (pictured) to document the creation of the centenary piece all the way from the community consultation stage to final creation and installation. Waxing lyrical in the office, Chris was overheard to say, “It’s a great honour to be the documentary photographer for the creation of a piece of history. Brilliant stuff init !” What more can we say.
